Welcome

This journal is a work of fiction set in the Star Trek universe, for a RPG character of mine, Diziara. Most characters involved are either my creation, or the creation of people I've played in RPGs with. Where including a canon Star Trek character, I've done my best to stay true to the established details and personality.

As this is supposed to be a realistic journal for my character, I have made no efforts to censor it any more than I believe she would censor herself in writing. Some subject matter may not be appropriate for all audiences and I leave it up to the reader to determine if they're mature enough to handle it. Diziara is at times violent, and is often sexually motivated, if either is likely to offend you, or is not legal for you to read according to your local laws, it is your responsibility if you choose to read further anyways, as I have warned you.

I have actively played with Diziara in two Play by Email groups, as well as a couple LiveJournal based Role Play groups.

I originally created her for Delta Force, a group my friend David started organizing when we were in high school. It started with a mission to bring Voyager Home from the Delta Quadrant, but when the run of Voyager ended in 2001, the mission changed to establishing a Starfleet presence out in the Delta Quadrant. Due to out of game politics, the group kind of fell apart and made in game excuses to transfer to a ship that had been part of the group and elected to break off when Delta Force broke apart.

The ship I transferred Diziara to was called the USS Terra Nova (very popular name, gets a lot of hits for Star Trek RPGs, but the site for the group I was involved in does not seem to be up anymore). The group went through a lull, then I fell out of contact with my friend who ran the ship, so that when it restarted, I wasn't included. This lead to me deciding the LJ based RPG community I next used Diziara in would just be another point in her history, instead of an alternate timeline like originally planned.

As mentioned above, I started the space station while the Terra Nova was still going, as a place a little better suited to Dizi's personality and goals. This group is called Starbase 668 and is nicknamed Milliways. An oppertunity to join another Livejournal based RPG group caused me to decide Diziara wasn't fitting in as well on this odd station as I'd hoped, so I transferred her to the other group and left myself active on 668 with my secondary character, as well as promoting an NPC of mine to a PC.

I transferred Diziara to the USS Takeda Shingen, characterizing it as unusually good luck as 668 was designed to be a dead end assignment for officers the fleet couldn't flush out but didn't want in the way. Due to one member of the group deciding to quit, and the otherwise small and tight knit interaction that is often the result of having few players in the game, I'm currently help run this game also, though more on the administrative level than game plot level, and we're looking for new players to join. As a result of the different dynamic of this group, I'm also running a journal for Diziara on LJ (kittenofdeath), though it's intended to be more for off-duty hijinx and "official" personal log than a replacement/supplement for this journal.
